Doctor of Optometry
Professional Experience
Dr. Roth joined Eyecare Associates in 2013. She provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and advanced eye health and optical services for all ages. She has a particular interest in glaucoma and medical optometry. She worked alongside glaucoma specialist Dr. William Argus for seven years in a referral based medical practice.
Dr. Roth is board certified by the American Board of Medical Optometry. She has lectured at several conferences including the American Academy of Optometry and American Optometric Association.
Volunteerism
Locally, Dr. Roth provides free screenings in area elementary schools and health fairs. She is also a provider for InfantSee, a non-profit organization that provides free eye examinations to infants six months to one-year of age. Internationally, Dr. Roth has dedicated her time participating in two mission trips in Honduras and the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent, providing medical and post-surgical eye care to those in need.
Dr. Roth served as the President of the Northeast Indiana Optometric Society from 2018-2020.
Education
Dr. Roth graduated with honors from Indiana University in 2008, and earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2012, graduating in the top of her class. She served as an Assistant Instructor for Geometric and Visual Optics, and also participated in a dry eye research lab, where she had the opportunity to present her findings at the national American Academy of Optometry conference. Dr. Roth received additional training by completing a hospital-based residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Fort Wayne VA Medical Center in 2013.

Dr. Roth is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.
Personal
Dr. Roth has followed in the footsteps of her grandfather, who was a well-known optometrist that served the Fort Wayne and Berne area. In her free time, Dr. Roth enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking with her husband Zach and their children, Jackson and Savannah. She is also an avid Colts and IU fan!
